My Confidence is in the Lord

My confidence is in the Lord

He conquers all things through his Word.

Then all my prayers I know he’s heard

And from all sin my soul he’s cured.

REFRAIN

O praise Him! O praise Him!

He is our King.  With peace to bring

We all can trust our God to hear

Of all the things that cause great fear.

It’s then our troubles he will hear

For Jesus came our life to share.

REFRAIN

O give your burden to the Lord

For inner peace is his reward

He cuts all evil with his Sword

Through Jesus’ blood for us outpoured.

REFRAIN

With joyful hearts our voices raise

Our hymns of thankfulness and praise

For he has kept our faith ablaze

And with his blessings filled our days.
