Listen Everyone Around the World

 Listen everyone around the world.
Listen to all God’s Word.

The enemies have their insults hurled

Listen to all God’s Word.

His words are true and filled with wisdom.

Tell it in cheerful song.

No need to fear when your troubles come

God’s Word will keep you strong.

Listen everyone both rich and poor.

The Lord has words for you:

“By yourself your sins you cannot cure.

Only I can them undo.

I gave to you a soul most precious.

Your wealth it cannot save.

My Son won for you a place most glorious.

A life beyond the grave.”

Listen all you who are wise and sure.

The Lord has words for you.

“Earthly wealth your future won’t secure

Christ’s gift alone will do.

Forgiveness comes in only one way.

Christ died for all your sins.”

With all your heart sound forth and now sing:

My life I give to you.
