PSALM 20

May God be with Us All Your Days

May God be with us all your days,

And lend his aid in time of need.

May he keep us from sinful ways,

As in our plans we seek his lead.

May the Lord God keep us from harm.

May he grant us our heart’s desire.

May he hold us in his right arm.

And keep the flames of faith on fire.

From highest heaven God sent his Son;

To bear the sins that cause us strife.

The final victory was won

When on the cross he gave his life.

We praise you, Lord, our heav’nly King.

By faith, we stand before your throne.

Of your victory we sing.

Christ brings us home to be your own.
