Teach Us, Lord, Your Name to Praise

Teach us, Lord, your name to praise

For all blessings you have given

As your children our voices raise

To honor you the Lord of heav’n.

Your majesty, Lord, fills the earth

Your glory overflows the sky.

Compared to you what is our worth

In Christ you did us dignify.

Lord, we love to hear the story

Of how your Son came down to earth.

He left your heav’n and its glory

He came in life to give us worth.

Through Him we have the gift of life

He gave his life on Calvary

Thus put to end our sinful strife

So we can live in harmony.
