I Look to You, Lord, to Save Me

I look to you, Lord to save me

For there is no one else like you.

All evil is my enemy

My Jesus does my life renew.

Turn not your wrath against my sin

But bring to justice all I do

Then in your love please take me in

O Lord, look deep within my heart

Examine all of what I do.

Do not your wrath to me impart

God is my shield, He will guard me

From all that Satan comes to do

What’s true and right God helps me do

God is the one who comes to save

When evil lurks in fullest view

God rescues me from death’s dark cave.

God is a judge who’s truly fair

For when we sin and evil do

He sent his Son his love to share.
