PSALM 6

The Lord Has Come to Make Us Well

The Lord has come to make us well.

He, in his kindness saved us all.

Let praise of Him begin to swell.

He picks us up whene’er we fall.

ALL GLORY, PRAISE AND HONOR BE

TO GOD WHO’S GOOD AND ANSWERS ME

Be not angry, O Lord, with me

I, in my sin deserve your wrath.

Thanks be to you that I can see

Christ leading me on the right path.

Refrain:

In stressful times I feel downcast

And there are times when I’m upset.

But you, O Lord, won’t let it last;

In Christ my needs have all been met.

Refrain:

I am worn out with grievous pain

My eyes are old and growing dim

I look to heav’n for there’s my gain

My Jesus waits; I’ll come to Him.
