Like a Rock

Like a rock, Lord, you’re always there.

Like an anchor you hold us fast.

Steady our course while we are here

Then take us home with you at last.

In your sight, Lord, what pleases you?

That all your sons are strong and tall.

Charming daughters pleasing to view.

May they have faith, Lord, most of all.

In your sight, Lord, what pleases you?

Barns full of crops of every kind.

All healthy foods in full review

And true to you, your people find.

In your sight, Lord, what pleases you?

In harmony and peace we live.

Your gifts each day we use anew

And then all praise to you we give.

Blest be the Lord who is my strength

Salvation he has given me.

The Lord, our God, went to such great length

In giving us eternity.
