God is always with us

Psalm142score.jpg

Psalm 142

One Place Alone

One place alone there is to go

When troubled and distressed

When overwhelmed and feeling low

I turn to God for rest.

God hears my cry and rescues me

All others turn away,

My refuge he, whom I can see

I’m safe in him each day.

At times, O Lord, I feel alone

It’s like all hope is gone

I turn to you that I’d be shown

My Savior on his throne.

God sent his Son down from above

For us he came to save.

He came to earth to show God’s love

So heaven we might have

Another of David’s prayers offered when facing bitter attacks in which he expresses his comfort in knowing that God not only would hear him but also deliver him.
