PSALM 112

The Lord’s Commands

The Lord’s commands are always true

They are his way to keep us pure

And when we fail he will renew

With him our future is secure

In God’s commands we take delight

To keep them shows we trust in him

We follow him and do what’s right

He lights our way; it ne’er grows dim

The man of God is not afraid

To place his trust upon the Lord.

To those in need God gives his aid

One’s faith in God is his reward.

How blessed is he who trusts the Lord

And offers him his heartfelt praise

His children, too, have God adored

They will be faithful all their days
