Lift Up Your Eyes unto the Lord

Lift up your eyes unto the Lord

From him alone your help will come.

In times of grief look heavenward

Let not your gaze from him e’er roam.

The Lord is with me, guiding my days.

He is my helper, and him I praise.

The Lord is there to watch o’er you.

He shades you from whate’er may come.

In weakness he will you renew

And promise you a welcome home

The Lord is with me, guiding my days.
He is my helper, and him I praise.

The Lord will keep you from all harm.

He is awake all day and night.

While you’re asleep his mighty arm

Protects you from the devil’s might.

The Lord is with me, guiding my days.

The Lord is there to be your guide

Here on the earth to do his will.

In toil and strife he’s by your side.

His peace in you he will  instill.

Whene’er you slip and fall to sin.

For you Christ drank the bitter cup

Of death that you might live again.
