Whenever Dangers Cross Your Path

Whenever dangers cross your path

Trust in the Lord, for Jesus’ sake.

There not the signs of God’s fierce wrath.

Know when they come he’ll not forsake.

Trust in the Lord; he will provide.

            There at your side, he’ll always abide.           

Use not your hands for evil deeds.

Find just the good God chose for you.

Promise to meet all others’ needs

And know God’s peace in what you do.

Trust in the Lord; he will provide.

          There at your side, he’ll always abide.           

Walk not with those who shun God’s ways.

Let them not harm your precious soul.

But through your faith be one who stays

With heaven as your final goal.

Trust in the Lord; he will provide.

         There at your side, he’ll always abide.           

When evil comes to capture me

Surround me with your open arms.

Grant me the strength all sin to flee,

And keep me safe from all that harms. 
Trust in the Lord; he will provide.
