The Lord Has Set Us Apart

The Lord has set us apart.

He gave us each a sense of worth.

He sent his Son to touch our heart.

Each day brings us brand new birth.

The light of your face shines bright upon me.

You’ve put joy in my heart.  You live in me!

You’ll comfort me.

In our distress we don’t ask why.

We only know that in the end

You answer us whene’er we cry.

And good from evil you will send.

In peace I lay down to sleep.

There is no strife that makes me chafe

The Lord is always there to keep

His eyes on me, then I’ll be safe.
