God rescues his people

psalm114longagoscore.jpg

Psalm  114
Long Ago

Long ago in a distant land

When God’s people each was a slave.

God split the sea and made dry sand.

The Lord God did his people save.

By faith we know what we can’t see

In all our woe, Lord, set us free.

Turn to him in your day of strife.

From a rock he made water gush.

See him work now in your own life.

For his Son did all evil crush

By faith we know what we can’t see

In all our woe, Lord, set us free.

The earth did tremble before the Lord.

He made it thus to rescue them.

Today we have his full reward.

He sent his Son to Bethlehem.

By faith we know what we can’t see

In all our woe, Lord, set us free.
